sfcollector Posted March 14, 2015 Share #1 Posted March 14, 2015 Both of these beret flashes commemorate the 19th Special Forces Group's service in Afghanistan. Both are U.S. made with Afghanistan's national colors stripped across the front. The one on the right, with the embroidered crossed rifles and the "3", puzzles me though. As far as I know, the 19th Group's organizational structure only includes a 2d and a 5th Battalion. Does anyone have any ideas as to what the crossed rifles and the "3" signify ? Thank you in advance.
