stealthytyler Posted March 10, 2015 Share #1 Posted March 10, 2015 I have a few WWII items (HBT shirt and Haversack) that have those darn orange color stains on them. I am guessing this is rust? Does anyone have a good way of removing or minimizing the stains? Thanks!
WW2JAKE Posted March 10, 2015 Share #2 Posted March 10, 2015 i used vinegar on a shirt for a Ike uniform i put together took the stain out after a while of dabbing. but i tested it on a hidden part to make sure it wont remove the color from the piece or make water stains. but others have more success with things i havent tried
