Disney designed 23rd Weather Squadron painting!

Recommended Posts

By far one of the coolest things I've ever had the privilege to own! It popped up on the USMF facebook page, and I snagged it about 5 minutes after it was posted. The original artwork was likely designed by Hank Porter, a Disney animator, in early 1944. It was painted on wood by CPL. Harold R. Kingsbury. It measures about 3 feet wide and 3.5 feet tall.

Thanks to disneydave for all the help.

That's a very cool piece. The Corporal that painted it had some real talent.
