gwb123 Posted March 8, 2015 Share #5 Posted March 8, 2015 Oddly enough, I think I have actually heard of this being done. Sort of a retirement thing....
hawk3370 Posted March 17, 2015 Share #6 Posted March 17, 2015 This is mine that was given to me by my girlfriend when I was Commander of the HHC, USAIMA, Ft. Bragg in 1978. My 1st Sgt took it from my desk one fine morning and passed it on to her. which forced me to rush to the PX to buy another, caught hell during that short 1 hr period walking around Bragg without a cover. She had it bronzed somewhere in Fayetteville, NC.
irish Posted March 17, 2015 Share #7 Posted March 17, 2015 Nice pieces thanks for posting. Was always curious as to why the bronzing process did not destroy the item? Or is a cast made?
