oldabewla Posted March 9, 2015 Share #3 Posted March 9, 2015 I have a yard long of the 113th Cav Dec.1941 they still had the horses and were transitioning into motorcycles and yes they had the same scout cars in your post card from Bowie, Texas. 124cav Posted January 13, 2016 Share #4 Posted January 13, 2016 At this stage the 113th was Horse-Mechanised. The 1st Squadron was horsed and the 2nd Squadron mechanised. Most of the "Guard" units ran under the same setup with the exception of the 112th and 124th Cavalry of the 56th Cavalry Brigade.
