Kurt Barickman Posted February 25, 2019 Share #52 Posted February 25, 2019 Interesting side note to that book, one of the pharmacist mates mentioned several times in the book was from central Minnesota. About 7 years ago did an internet search and found an address close to the town listed in the book. Did a drive on a summer Friday afternoon went to the address and it was an assisted living residence. Veteran was dead, widow was in the early phases of dementia and could not answer a question that I asked but on the wall was a shadow box with his pharmacist mate patch, photos and other items from his service.
