That is all for GEN Patton, of course there is more than what is here and its always better in person.

 

This is an interesting model in the gift shop.

Very nice portray of GP of his things at the museum. I was there about 12 years ago.I have some on the same pictures. It looks like they added some things since I was there. I also remember there where German things on display to. It is a must to go there.

Thank you for the detailed tour.

 

My wife is always kidding me about finding General Patton's field jacket at a swap meet or on eBay. Perhaps there is still another one out there!

Very, very interesting.

 

One remark; the jacket in post number 34 & 35 is NOT an M41 field jacket, but a 1st pattern tanker jacket.

When I was there a few years ago I seem to remember a "cut away" Panzer Mk IV (I think) that was used for training. I thought that was particularly neat. Is that still there?

Thanks for posting the pics. I have not been there since the Armor School moved to Benning and took the other non Patton items.
