1st Field Artillery Observation Battalion Korea 1952, the troops are in fact Thai troops attached to the 2nd Infantry Division. 1st Field Artillery Observation Battalion however, believe the 1st Field Artillery Observation Battalion was a I Corps Artillery Troop Unit.

Okinawa Summer 1970, 30th Artillery Brigade. HHB sign and my own Change of Command ceremony at the brigade HQ sign. On it are the DUIs for the 1st Artillery, the 3rd Artillery, and the brigade DUI and SSI. Starched fatigues, a nice shine on the boots, and, oh those eye glasses. We still had the shiny belt buckle, and I had replaced the dorky Army-issue hot weather cap with a locally-made one.

So, why am I posting these photos on this topic?  Could it be this guy who is on duty?

1460064683_35thCactiInfantryRegiment017e.jpg.09ef39eabd726eab037d83e3acc3bbb8.jpg

...or the Duty Sergeant who is goofing off with their mascot?

except for the guy on the right who never drinks or chases women and always has money at the end of the month

The 12th Infantry on a Bass Drum 1963, it seems at least one Infantry Battle Group unit in the PENTOMIC Era had it's own Band, the 2nd Battle Group 12th Infantry 1st Infantry Division.
