Here are mine. A P1 that I got from FSBE, ID'd to USMC Clerk (MOS 373) David J Eger in an HQ and Service Company. Musters say he was in the Pacific Theater in 1945. A P2 with funnel hole. A P2 with no funnel hole. A P3 with no funnel hole.

The strange construction of the lighter-shade Cover leads me to suspect that this is a very early variant; never seen another like it:

Nothing too spectacular but its mine. Found it in an antique shop along with the cartridge belt for $25 about 2 1/2 yrs ago. It caught my eye because I worked for a guy who had collected and went on and on one day about Marine Corps rabbit ear canteens one day at the office. I like most of us had picked things up here and there throughout my career but this canteen is the piece that actually got me into collecting as a dedicated hobby.

Nothing up with it. Its a transitional P2 with a funnel hole. Their harder to find than normal P2s. Got it at the SOS last year.

Never seen one of those before. I imagine they were made in 1944 for the most part.
