muddyboots Posted February 16, 2015 Share #1 Posted February 16, 2015 These helmets were brought back by a Cobra Crew Chief of the 4th Squadron 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment Desert Storm. They were picked up some where in the vicinity of 73 Easting where the regiment had large engagement with Tawakalna's 18th Mechanized Brigade and the 12th Armored Division's 9th Armored Brigade. The helmets were picked up while touring the battle fields at the wars end. The vet decided to do some house cleaning and decided to sell all his and his wife's uniforms and swag that they brought home from the war. Unfortunately I wasn't able to acquire the uniforms when they listed everything on eBay and the grouping got dispersed. He met his wife who was part of the 7/159 aviation regiment during Desert Storm.
