Fly USMC Posted February 16, 2015 Share #1 Posted February 16, 2015 Nice plate from the Units time in Korea just prior to Vietnam Deployment. It was Presented to M/SGT. Edgar C. Mims by his 2nd Platoon Cavaliers of CO A 1st BN 12th CAV. With a google search I found an Edgar Mims that was born on 25 Sep 1921 and died on 3 Oct 1997 who served in the US Army and obtained the rank of Master Sergeant. He was buried in Cain Cemetery in Jay Florida (About 20 miles from where I picked it up) Rest in Peace Master Sergeant Mims.
