phil.co1 Posted February 16, 2015 Share #1 Posted February 16, 2015 A little confused by these so hopefully someone here can help. Made by Coward shoes and stamped Minute women shoes. Also marked as British Officer shoes but not ones that I recognise. Goodyear heels and marked in U.S size. Any ideas? Regards Phil
cutiger83 Posted February 17, 2015 Share #2 Posted February 17, 2015 They do have the same style as WAVE shoes. How tall is the heel? The one shown on the Blitzkrieg website has a WAVES tag but these could be private issue. http://www.blitzkriegbaby.de/homepage.htm This is from the Blitzkrieg website: "Black laced (4, 5 or 6 eyelet) oxford shoes were authorized as service shoes. The heels could not be higher than 1-3/8 inches and plain black leather with closed toes and heels was mandated. The stitching had to be black and no decorations or perforations of any kind were allowed.}" ...Kat
phil.co1 Posted February 17, 2015 Author Share #3 Posted February 17, 2015 Haven`t actually measured them myself but told they are two inch. I`m guessing that`s from the back of the heel which would make the shortest part about 1 3/8 is that where they should be measured?
