I have onted an very used M52 for a while.....some tome ago i got a minty one...but just didint have the right feel to it....... :rolleyes:

I prefer both! I have used displays and I also really enjoy building displays with clean gear as well. When it comes to harder to find items I prefer clean examples free of damage with clean clear tags / stamps.

Hey Jim

 

Check out this picture. Marine in Khe Sanh, 1968. This appears to be the same type of rain jacket that marines used in Hue City.

Never seen such a type with white lining and white plastic snaps, got any pics of one these days? Are they marked?

Assuming a PX item? Lots of marines of different battalions can be seen wearing this type with white lining and plastic snaps, they are pretty neat. Do you know what the pants look like?

Always wondered if the skull collecting in vietnam was just isolated events or was it as wide as in the pacific in WWII..... :huh:

I have seen dozens of photos of soldiers in Vietnam posing with skulls, and know of some that had been confiscated from soldiers who attempted to bring them to the US after their tour.

I didd a seach and only very few photos poped out....most from the pacific....if you have photos do share.....
