I found an obit. for a Betty Ann Carriger, married Edwards, but she was born 9-18-34 d. 8-24-2012 Jonesborough, Tenn. Therefore she would have been too young for WWII. Where these WWII manuals issued for Korean War or ?. Of course this could be wrong Betty A Carriger. I made out some more writing on cover of manual "Betty A. Carriger Barracks #124 Co then maybe L-4. Richard

Thanks to USDog for this info: Richard

Maybe her? Are the initials right? Maybe Betty wasn't her real name like a nickname?

Name: Elizabeth A Carriger
Muster Date: Jan 1944
Enlistment Date: 22 Jul 1943
Rank: Private First Class
Station: Headquarters Company, Women Reserve Battalion

Betty is a common nick name for Elizabeth.
