Corpsman_1941 Posted February 4, 2015 Share #1 Posted February 4, 2015 Hi I bought this US WWII belt as army belt for 30$ but buckle looks like USMC buckle and #2-no markings on belt. Would like to know what do you think, is it USMC WWII belt?

airborneaviator Posted February 5, 2015 Share #4 Posted February 5, 2015 Yep, that's a Marine belt. You can tell by the two peice brass buckle. It's a nice one too.

Bagman Posted February 5, 2015 Share #6 Posted February 5, 2015 We-l-l-l-l-l....maybe. The buckle is the style used by the Marine Corps for many years. However, the width of the webbing on Marine belts was 1.375 INCHES (give or take a little). Army trouser belts were 1.25 inches wide (+ or - ). Suggest you measure. Respectfully submitted, Bagman
Corpsman_1941 Posted February 5, 2015 Author Share #7 Posted February 5, 2015 Belt is +/- 3,5 cm wide (1,375 inch=3,43cm) so thats Marine belt
