Patchcollector Posted January 30, 2015 Share #1 Posted January 30, 2015 Hi all,Here is a rather unusual piece. It is a US made patch that has been incountry "embellished" with the letters 'KCS",and "Triton".This would have been worn by a NVA or Viet Cong soldier that had been "turned",and now worked on the US side as a Scout. This is the only one I've ever seen that was made like this. Has anyone else ever seen one of these incountry "embellished" KCS Triton pieces before? Patchcollector Posted January 30, 2015 Author Share #4 Posted January 30, 2015 that is really cool! I have never seen one like that. Thanks!Me neither! I like the symbolism. The incountry applied lettering onto the US made patch is a "picture" of the enemy Vietnamese soldier "grafted" into the US unit! ParaOps Posted October 2, 2020 Share #9 Posted October 2, 2020 Hi Gents, This patch has always been a mystery until I came across this thread. Unlike the patch that started this thread the one I have is clearly embroidered by hand. Thoughts on this patch? Thanks Paul
MilitaryPicker1941 Posted October 2, 2020 Share #10 Posted October 2, 2020 Looks like it might be good. I have a jacket that has some similar embroidery on it
