m151mp Posted January 31, 2015 Share #6 Posted January 31, 2015 i put the question out on the MP forum, and most of the answers came back pointing to a parent unit, the 55th MP's, but it was not certain. it may simply be that it predates the guys on that forum, or it may be what only one person suggested, which was a detachment of the 2nd Temporary Training Company. One of the Trading Posts had an article about MPs who rode the trains that the Army used to transport people and supplies. Inchon was a huge port for Troop Ships and Cargo Ships.
