The 2015 Fest (Fest XVI) will be held March 13-16 at the Holiday Inn Express in Port Clinton. The schedule of events includes a dealer bourse on Friday (open to the public), educational presentations throughout the weekend, a military numismatics trivia contest, Saturday Night Poker Tournament and ends with an auction on Sunday. The topics covered at the Fest include much more than MPC. It includes everything and anything within the realm of military numismatics -- MPC, Allied Military Currency, Axis occupation money including Japanese Invasion Money, POW, internment and concentration camp money, war finance instruments including savings bonds and certificates from the US and around the world, club chits, Red Cross coupons, AAFES POGS. Attendees include such military numismatic researchers as Fred Schwan, Joe Boling, Neil Shafer, and Steve and Ray Feller. Previous special guests have included a designer of MPC from the Bureau of Engraving, the head of the AAFES POGS program, a concentration camp survivor who participated in the Operation Bernhard counterfeiting scheme, and a German specialist on occupation money.
