What do I have here?

While I do have the references, I am having a tough time discerning the different EGA types (I am looking forward to getting the new book). I am primarily a W1 collector, so any of the following that are not WW1 will probably hit the For Sale forum here shortly. Here's EGA #1

#1- Model 1920 enlisted emblems, first collar emblems authorized in EGA form for enlisted Marines, worn 1920-30

#2- Model 1926 enlisted, worn roughly 1930-37

#3- Model 1937 enlisted, converted into a sweetheart pin, pattern worn 1937-55

#4- "Ellis" Pattern, worn pre-WWI by officers, some continued to wear into WWI...the nicest one of the bunch

#5- Another M-20 enlisted

#6- M37 sweetheart pin, sold at PX and not worn by actual Marines

#7- M37 'Dodge' variant sweetheart pin

#8- M37 NS Meyers officer emblem, worn 1937-60

That was lightning fast :D.. I kind of figured that EGA #4 was the only First War era one in the bunch. Any idea on value ranges so I can list the rest? I will be posting for show and tell, my WW1 USMC Flyers uniform once I get the rest of the paperwork from the friend I bought it from (Northern Bomb Group, left the USMC, joined the New Mexico NG as a Stuart Tamk platoon leader. Sent to the Philippines, captured at Bataan)

My opinion on prices having buying/sold 1000's of Corps devices.....

#1- Model 1920 enlisted emblems, first collar emblems authorized in EGA form for enlisted Marines, worn 1920-30 - $40-60

#2- Model 1926 enlisted, worn roughly 1930-37- $75-100

#3- Model 1937 enlisted, converted into a sweetheart pin, pattern worn 1937-55 - $5

#4- "Ellis" Pattern, worn pre-WWI by officers, some continued to wear into WWI...the nicest one of the bunch - $175-250 (this is WW1 era device and worn into the 1920's (screw/post back), one of the more commonly seen emblems of the WW1 era on officer collars, very collectable today due to its appearance)

#5- Another M-20 enlisted -$20

#6- M37 sweetheart pin, sold at PX and not worn by actual Marines - $15

#7- M37 'Dodge' variant sweetheart pin - $15

#8- M37 NS Meyers officer emblem, worn 1937-60 - $20
