doyler Posted July 12, 2008 Share #2 Posted July 12, 2008 This is a pad for the paratrooper helmet circa late 1960s and early 1970s.It is usually installed in the rear of the helmet using the lower strap from the webb nape strap that goes in the back of the liner.In later liners there are those 3 friction buckles where the nape strap attaches to.
