smwinter207 Posted January 7, 2015 Author Share #2 Posted January 7, 2015 Here are closer photos. I'm guessing it is Korean made. The flower looking peg and the asian looking figures are pretty safe clues. If anyone has any ideas, please feel free to share. Thanks!
Captainofthe7th Posted January 7, 2015 Share #3 Posted January 7, 2015 Nice pick up. I see these fairly often on ebay...I always thought it would be neat to build a collection of these! I have no idea where they are made, but I have seen more than one for units stationed in Germany at the time. I seem to recall seeing a 43d Division plaque with just an Occupation Ribbon for the soldier's awards. I always thought they were US made, but I never noticed the floral pegs or the stylized characters. Maybe Japanese made and readily available stateside or on all army bases around the world??
