Camouflage M1 Steel Pot

I recently received this camouflaged M1 helmet. It is a late WW2 manganese rim rear seam. I've had it about a week or so and as I was looking for the heat stamp I was pleasantly surprised, it is a Schlueter. I had a terrible time trying to get a good picture of the "S".

i dont know if id call that camouflage but looks like it was a vietnam repaint, actually make that many repaints lol nice shell!

I agree, looks like the most recent coat is a Vietnam era repaint. Still a nice WWII Schlueter with a nice camo paint job!

looking at it again it looks as if the under coat was yellow then the vietnam green was put on thin, perhaps this is some of that yellow primer ive heard of but never seen? as opposed to the red oxide primer seen on vietnam era helmets
