They are hand painted and are made from WWII German fuse containers bakelite material with the German Wather proof marked on the bottom of the caps same as the P38 grip are marked inside. The 7th was an organic unit of the 1st ID DIVARTY. The appears to be a date on it (1946?) and possibly a location. At the time the 7th was stationed in Landshut in Bavaria.
