Anybody know what these were used for? Found a lot of em in there

These are 1919-1920 equipment marking tags. Each of these would have been attached to a web belt, pouch or some other piece of equipment.

Thanks for the comments, Mike was a great friend and digging partner. Taken way too soon. This site is not far out of the Ft. Olgethorpe area, but all the 6th Cav stuff confirms that's where it originally came from. Here's a few more pics:

US Rosettes

Some more misc buckles and attachments. The leather boot toe cap was one of the very few non-metallic or glass items that was found. Also another first aid pack, Bauer & Black. Mfg August 1918.

The piece with the red glass is odd. Appears to have had a pin attachment on the back. Some underwear buttons, middle one is marked "US Army" And a crusty thimble.

This device is about the size of a silver dollar, Great Seal design, back is threaded like the collar discs. The long item has a pin attachment on the back.

Sorry for your loss friends are dear. Very interesting finds. The porcelain piece with the 6th Cavalry is very nice. What is the cavalry disc with the S?
