I checked the internet and found one of the models of this famous P-47N, matches my original photo pretty good.

My grandfather was a P-47 pilot of the 333rd FS, 318th FG stationed on Ie Shima. I have photos of nose art on a few P-47s that I am trying to identify, but not of this one. Most of the nose art photos I have are from B-24 Liberators that were on the island. Before he passed he told me that many of the photos from the island were lost because of a typhoon. So it is always great to see the pictures that survived. I’m putting together the history of his military campaign and would appreciate any information or photos to help me fill in the missing pieces of the puzzle.
