DIY-Custom Gun safe door organizer

Guys

After buying a gun safe, I wanted a door organizer. The type sold by the gun safe company wasn't really a very good design; didn't hold much gear.

I bought a couple MOLLE rear-set organizer panels. They come with an external pouch/pocket and an internal pocket.

Here is what I did

1. Had them sewn together, with an additional section to make longer

2. Removed one pocket

3. Had MOLLE straps added to where the pocket

It still needs some work. I need a better system to secure to inside of the door.

Now I need some pistol and rifle mag pouches and some GP pouches

With the ACU camo being replaced, I should be able to get a bunch cheap. Anyone have a bunch?

There is a surplus store somewhat local to me that I bought a bunch of used ACU M4 mag pouches from, $4 or $5 each as I recall. That was last spring, they had piles of them, all were nice condition, used, and serviceable.

Not sure what your price range is. I need an excuse to hit the store, it's about 75 miles away, but will also likely see the store folks at a gunshow or two I go to.

Let me know what you are after and I may be able to help you out, no charge but the actual cost to buy and ship.

Here is an update.

I think the bulky/big pouches need to go, well as I fill up my gun safe.

I think single mag thickness pouches are the way to go

Plus I think I need to cut off the pocket that came with the panels and have more MOLLE straps added

My OCD is driving me to fill up those empty MOLLE straps !!!!
