But to a collector of helmets that just loves the look of this one, despite its ambiguous military history (4th Army has no combat record), then it's worth whatever somebody chooses to pay. I've often paid well above retail or even collector monetary value for something because it's an item that I really wanted to add to my collection and display, and to me at least, it was well worth the price I paid.
