willysmb44 Posted December 23, 2014 Share #1 Posted December 23, 2014 I saw the ending of this movie many years ago. The main character is (I think) a British officer who is posing as a German general. At the end, he's telling Hitler personally that several of his own people are traitors. He escapes from the bunker, apparently going West and is captured by either a Brit or US patrol, can't recall which. The very end of the movie has him walking down a street in his British officer's uniform and a soldier salutes him, he starts to give the German salute then remembers how to salute properly again. Does anyone have clue as to the title of this movie?
patches Posted December 23, 2014 Share #2 Posted December 23, 2014 What was it from the late 40s, the 50s, or an early 60s B/W?

I can't say, but I'd think probably late 40s or 50s from what I recall of the photography. But I could easily be wrong about that.
