vchmiele Posted December 23, 2014 Share #1 Posted December 23, 2014 Can anyone provide me with some dimensions for the AN 6510 parachute pack? It looks to vary in size from image to image. Is this a matter of how it was packed?

WWII Parachutist Posted December 23, 2014 Share #3 Posted December 23, 2014 The pack frame is 13" x 15", but the depth depends on the the rigger who packs it as well as the individual canopy. Depending on the width of the long folds and length of the accordion folds, it will be flatter or taller. Silk canopies tend to pack slightly more bulky, and old canopies pack down tighter. The flaps are designed to stretch somewhat and compensate for the variations.
