One of the things I love about my job as a service tech, is being able to come upon groupings like this. Lt Jack C Curtis 376th bomb group 514th bomb sq. Jacks B24 was shot down over Yugoslavia on his 31st mission and spent the next 8 months as a pow. I'm still working on compiling information. Its kind of interesting, I found out after the war Jack and my grandfather were friends at Kelloggs in Battle Creek MI. Anyways I hope you enjoy the pics.

Hi -

My Uncle, 1Lt Roland J Hann, was the Pilot of the Crew that Lt. Curtis flew with, and was one of the 7 KIA on the same Mission (MACR 9332)

Just recently, I've come across a stack of letters (at the bottom of Roland's army trunk) - some written to my Grandmother from the other Mother's of the crew as they were all waiting for more info (late '44-47) and also post-war letters to her from each of the surviving crew, including one from Lt. Curtis while he was still hospitalized at Percy Jones in June of 1945. Soooo, I've been searching for family and/or close relatives in order to share these letters. For now, I'll just attach the Crew photo and some links, but I'd appreciate any leads to contacting family members?

I imagine you may have already run into these, but..........
