hink441 Posted December 15, 2014 Share #1 Posted December 15, 2014 Found this F-104 pilot's manual recently. This one is dated 1964 and is complete with the revisions. Whenever I run across these Pilot manuals I try to pick them up if they are reasonbly priced. This one was very cheap. Thanks for looking. Sgt. Swigart Posted May 26, 2015 Share #6 Posted May 26, 2015 One of my favorite planes. It's history is mired in crooked dealing, peace time accident rates that were worse than most planes combat losses and host of other problems including the fact that is was an answer to a question no one was really asking. Still one of the best looking planes ever built. If modern engines were put in it, it would be faster than any thing in our current inventory or the worlds for that matter, by a large margin. Kelly Johnson wanted fast and by god he got it with this plane, no compromises.
