Steve B. Posted December 11, 2014 Share #2 Posted December 11, 2014 Nice! As a former 1SG, this is one of my areas of collecting. I'll try to get some photos up in the next day or two.
Steve B. Posted December 11, 2014 Share #3 Posted December 11, 2014 Here are some quick photos of my First Sergeant insignia collection. First up is an assortment of pins and a matchbook cover: Next is an assortment of stickers & decals. Here are some modern small cloth insignia Some sleeve insignia from Korea to the present. An assortment of 2-rocker sleeve insignia. I suspect the bottom left stripes are repro. An assortment of 3-rocker WWII-era stripes. I am still looking for a set of felt-on-felt 3-rocker First Sergeant stripes. I am told they exist, but have never seen any. And finally, an assortment from approximately the Spanish-American War era through WWI. I'd love to have some Civil War First Sergeant stripes, but my bank account tells me I can't have them. I should also mention that I have decided to only collect infantry stripes. There are lots of nice artillery, cavalry, etc. stripes out there, but I can't afford to buy them all. I hope you enjoyed all of these!

Lee Ragan Posted December 14, 2014 Share #9 Posted December 14, 2014 The top left chevron in photo #1 is for an Infantry Company Supply Sergeant. You've got some nice chevrons there. I really like the variations on the top kick chevrons thru the years! The Ordnance Sgt. chevrons in #14 are nice too!

Third Herd Posted October 5, 2015 Share #17 Posted October 5, 2015 I have a felt on felt three rocker First Segeant and it looks like they took a diamond off a two rocker on and crudely sewed it on a Master Sergeant chevron.

Steve B. Posted October 5, 2015 Share #23 Posted October 5, 2015 Patches - The sticker on the far right is indeed much larger than the others. It is modern-made, and I think it was meant to be a window sticker for car, or something along those lines. Steve
Steve B. Posted October 5, 2015 Share #24 Posted October 5, 2015 Do you have a KEEP OFF "MY" GRASS sign in your front yard? Nope, not me. I prefer to go out an yell at them in person. And have them do push ups!
Steve B. Posted October 5, 2015 Share #25 Posted October 5, 2015 Phill- Those are great! Sadly, I found and resold several over the years before I finally decided to collect them. Now I can't find them at all! Steve
