Tudorp Posted December 6, 2014 Share #1 Posted December 6, 2014 Picked this up as a WWII era Enlisted service cap badge. The circled stars area is not round, but more of an oval, and not quite the same as modern, and some that I have seen that are WWII era. Could this be early WWII era, maybe as far back as WWI maybe? The eagle insignia is a separate piece than the backing plate, not all one piece like some I have seen.
MattS Posted December 6, 2014 Share #2 Posted December 6, 2014 No, it's WW2 and has been polished repeatedly. WW1 discs were one piece and a different pattern.
