Bearmon Posted December 5, 2014 Share #1 Posted December 5, 2014 According to the MRFA.ORG site there were only 5 APL's that served in Vietnam, The Satyr, The Sphinx, The Krishna, The Indira and the Askari. The were landing craft repair ships used for support of the Brown Water Navy. Sorry I don't have the other two you are looking for but I do have this one that I feel is related with a PBR and LST type amphibious ship both pictured. I am guessing River-Rep stands for River Repair. It too is Japanese made. I do not know if it a specific ship or unit or rather more of a generic souvenir patch.
