Not pictures of patches but still Snoopy at war. There are from the 1968 yearbook for the 99th Bomb Wing, Snoopy and the other Peanuts characters are used throughout the book, but these photos show Snoopy went to war on the sides of a number of the Wing's B-52s.

295th HHC, this unit trained the other CH-54 units going to Vietnam. Copies of this patch made in Vietnam exist, probably made by former unit members who were later sent over.

Air traffic unit.

This has no association to a specific unit so it probably got used by many as a generic expression. Seems to USMC associated.

There has certainly been some great Snoopy stuff posted thus far. Rather than duplicate some already shown, I thought I might add a few more.

post-2744-0-78769700-1417406820.jpg

My guess is the top top of this was to be left blank in filled in later with a specific unit or name or whatever.

A whole litter of puppies of various sizes to be sewn on flight jackets, party suits or helmet bags. For size comparision there is a quarter included,

post-2744-0-43967600-1417406967.jpg

One of my favorites which does show a little wear around the edges but still is a classic.

post-2744-0-02624400-1417407030.jpg

Technically not a patch, but the cover of a unit history for the 146th Aviation Company.

post-2744-0-49720000-1417407090.jpg

Everyone's favorite Snoopy and the urine test patch.

post-2744-0-79052500-1417407132.jpg

Technically not a specific unit, but a rather amusing novelty patch. I think this is Thai made.

post-2744-0-44352700-1417407177.jpg

And another.

post-2744-0-59520500-1417407221.jpg

Although not Snoopy, we can't forget his sidekick Woodstock.

post-2744-0-96389500-1417407268.jpg

Or that blockhead Charley Brown.

post-2744-0-88833000-1417407303.jpg

I have seen a couple different variations of this patch recently from the 433rd Tactical Fighter Squadron with 433rd TFS on the bomb but missing the Phantom II at the top.

post-2744-0-20332500-1417407373.jpg

A more recent patch with velcro on the back. I am not positive what Snoopy is holding but I think it resembles a condom.

post-2744-0-63002600-1417407429.jpg

And last but not least another classic Snoopy novelty patch.

A similar patch to the one posted in #43 but with a different date.

post-2744-0-13452300-1497825119_thumb.jpg

A nice Vietnamese chain stitch example. I am guessing Maverick 38 was a call sign.

post-2744-0-28024200-1497825205_thumb.jpg

A mixed assortment of some period examples.

A nice handmade example of C Flight from an unknown squadron.

post-2744-0-83004200-1497825347_thumb.jpg

And one of my favorites.

Believe it or not there was actually at one time a LZ Charlie Brown. Americal Quang Ngai Province I Corps.

There was also an LZ Peanuts, opened by the 1st Cav Div in the spring of 1968 in Quang Tin Province, during Operation Pegasus (The relief of Khe Sahn), pretty sure it was named Peanuts in honor of Charlie Brown and company :D.

This is the largest Snoopy patch I have run across. I think he is firing a .50 caliber but I am not positive.

post-2744-0-95204300-1498012784_thumb.jpg

I have heard that this type of olive drab backing was made from sandbag material as used in Vietnam, but I do not know if that is entirely correct.

post-2744-0-19532400-1498012922_thumb.jpg

At 10" across, it was probably intended for wear on the back of a jacket.
