med-dept Posted November 27, 2014 Share #1 Posted November 27, 2014 Hi guys, I have been looking for one of these for several years, and finally managed to score one, in almost unused condition. Just wanted to share a few photographs, as these do not show up too often. Regards, Ben.

sundance Posted November 28, 2014 Share #8 Posted November 28, 2014 Boy, that is neat. I've never seen one. Who was it made for, military or civilian? I take it that it picks up a range of frequencies (sp?).
Bob Hudson Posted November 28, 2014 Share #9 Posted November 28, 2014 Boy, that is neat. I've never seen one. Who was it made for, military or civilian? I take it that it picks up a range of frequencies (sp?). This is an example of what were called "morale radios," which were made not for tactical communications but so that troops could tune in to music and other entertainment programming. Several companies made them.
