I have this headset...Mi first theory was that it was a WWII NAF headset, but when I saw the microphone and the markings I started to ask myself...It is a military item? and what era belong to??? pararaftanr2 Posted November 22, 2014 Share #13 Posted November 22, 2014 It looks like a post-WW2 re-work of the military headsets shown in your vintage photos and done for commercial aviation use, based on the non-military addition of that yellow tag and the bolts added to secure the earphones to their mounts, neither of which were found on military headsets. The microphone, it's boom mount and plug are all of a post-WW2 style. As designed, the boom would have been rotated 180 degrees and worn on the wearer's right side.
