ColdWarRules Posted November 13, 2014 Share #1 Posted November 13, 2014 Hi! I have recently taken up the interest in medal bars, most of the ones I currently own are WW1 German medal bars. I've been trying to figure out how to store them properly and what you guys do for your collections. Are there any good cases I can keep them in? Does anyone have any tips? - Nick
uniformcollector Posted November 13, 2014 Share #2 Posted November 13, 2014 I have always used riker mounts and they seem to work great.
Rogi Posted November 13, 2014 Share #3 Posted November 13, 2014 The riker ones are always good as above.
Teamski Posted November 14, 2014 Share #4 Posted November 14, 2014 I use riker mounts with the foam removed and line them with velvet (not felt!). It looks good and is relatively acid free. -Ski
Mr.Jerry Posted November 16, 2014 Share #5 Posted November 16, 2014 whatever you use do not keep them on any foam rubber, I have bought several collections where the medals and foam rubber reacted and stained the medals and lefts this funky crusty verdigris that would not come off!
