bryang Posted November 4, 2014 Share #1 Posted November 4, 2014 Not really a captured trophy, however I found my old chest rig which I used in Iraq during certain travel. During both of my tours to Iraq, we often traveled in and around Baghdad using old crappy confiscated Iraqi cars (referred to as IOVs - Indigenous Operations Vehicles). It was occasionally too risky to travel in armored HMMWV convoys, so we wore concealable body armor under civilian clothing and traveled amongst the locals. Of course, we were at risk of coming under fire by our own forces - we carried bright VS-17 panel pieces to signal from a distance as we approached guarded bases. Here is my rig (signal panel is still in its pouch. Me wearing my rig.
