gwb123 Posted October 26, 2014 Share #4 Posted October 26, 2014 The other one might be a signet ring. Like in Europe, there was a tradition of having a stylized "chop" or signature made into a ring. Documents could be signed with it, either with ink or pressed into a wax seal. That might be one your father had made up for himself and might represent his name.
