Please help identify these WWII rings from Japan

Among the many things my father sent home from Japan, these rings have me stumped.

The opium pipe was also sent home. I also have the swords, rifle, Nambu, box and other items he sent home.

Thank you for any information you may have on these rings.

The other one might be a signet ring. Like in Europe, there was a tradition of having a stylized "chop" or signature made into a ring. Documents could be signed with it, either with ink or pressed into a wax seal. That might be one your father had made up for himself and might represent his name. I think you can still get these made today.
