mvmhm Posted October 20, 2014 #1 Posted October 20, 2014 I just posted his grouping ehre: http://www.usmilitariaforum.com/forums/index.php?/topic/222394-506th-pir-grouping/ Here's some of what he sent home...there's also a Walter PPK somewhere that's been "lost in the shuffle".... First, an NSDAP armband and SS sports shirt insignia...the armband has the remnants of the RZM tag on the inside. Mark sends
mvmhm Posted October 20, 2014 Author #2 Posted October 20, 2014 ...misc. coins...the earliest are the 1892 and 1911 dated Imperial coins....
mvmhm Posted October 20, 2014 Author #3 Posted October 20, 2014 Iron Cross 1st and 2nd Class......the EKI will clean up nice, but teh 2nd class needs some TLC...the frame is partially separated and the jump ring has been twisted....
mvmhm Posted October 20, 2014 Author #4 Posted October 20, 2014 ...and finally, an SS-VT dress bayonet with the scarce SS NCO troddle and a patent leather frog...the other bayonet is a World War I Gottlieb Hammesfar dated 1916, which will also need a little cleaning......
USCapturephotos Posted October 20, 2014 #6 Posted October 20, 2014 Great finds Mark. Will look super with all of the other items. Congratulations. Paul
Militiaman Posted October 22, 2014 #8 Posted October 22, 2014 I'm going to have to hit you with a few questions. Can you make out the stamp on the back of the brassard? On the back of your EK1 there is something inscribed on the 9 o'clock arm. Can you make it out? What is the make of the NCO bayo? VERY nice! Rob.

Sorry, but the ink is too blurry to see what it originally said. 2. I noticed that too....it's the number "50"..it looks like there's a "3" and maybe something else before it. 3. The NCO bayonet is not maker marked. Mark sends
