The jacket is dated 30 DEC 1957 from the pattern date of 17 OCT 1957. I am curious on the origin of the 1st CAV patch and SP4 rank. I believe them to be Japanese made. The patch seems "flimsy" on the uniform. But being a jack of all trades and a master of none, I was hoping to get the expert opinion from some of the patch masters here on the forum.
