oldabewla Posted October 14, 2014 Share #1 Posted October 14, 2014 I found these pictures in the very first FM manual printed on the M1 carbine during WWII. Every one knows of the FM 23-7 carbine manual from May 20th 1942 but this is May 2nd 1942 In the drawing is shows a 3 cell M1 carbine pouch on the web bet anyone ever see one? Ronny67 Posted October 16, 2014 Share #3 Posted October 16, 2014 The only 3 cell pouches for the carbine I have seen have been WWII Airborne Rigger made. They look surprisingly close to this. perhaps this early rare pouch is what the riggers used as a template? Just food for thought. I would like to see some heavyweights like robinb share their thoughts with this one.
