bryang Posted October 9, 2014 Share #1 Posted October 9, 2014 Same estate sale this morning, I also snagged a baggie with U.S. Naval insignia for a (unknown) Sailor from the destroyer USS Strong. With the insignia was a three-page Wikipedia print out on the USS Strong's history. Apparently commissioned late in WW2, it saw service off the coast of Korea during that conflict, as well as combat off the coast of Vietnam. Was sold to Brazil in the early 1970's.
