In the 50s, a friend had recently pulled out his MC service dress and khakis to air them out on his sun porch. The same day, his wife had placed other clothing items to be picked up by the Salvation Army. He was not around when the reps from Salvation Army arrived, and they picked up both the clothes to be donated AND ALL his uniforms. He didn't know from what branch the pickup men had come, so he could not track them down. The Marine's name [was] Shepperly. He was a Captain. I wanted to post here because an ad in Wanted would have expired. If anyone has a Service Dress or Khaki Marine Corps uniform with this name and rank, please post photos. I am looking for the uniform for the veteran's family. I know it is a needle in one thousand haystacks situation, but who knows! Many thanks!
