dave grunt Posted October 2, 2014 Share #1 Posted October 2, 2014 The Big Room--The history of AMA from 1900-1984 is depicted in The Big Room along with a few temporary exhibits including " The AMA/VMI connection " and " Don't Fence me in " a recent installation on a book authored by an AMA cadet that was prisoner in the Bergen-Belson concentration camp during the Holocaust. Football was king, followed by basketball and baseball. Over the years, the school hosted large boxing tournaments in the 1930s, fielded crack rifle teams and sponsored intense fencing and la crosse programs.
