MinorInHistory Posted December 15, 2022 Share #1151 Posted December 15, 2022 Here I am after a very long day of practicing squad tactics/scouting and patrolling - I seem a little too happy considering the amount of shrubs I dove into…

alpino Posted May 6 Share #1161 Posted May 6 About 25 years ago, the Museum of the Rockies, famous for dinosaurs and all that, let myself & my friend Dave do an exhibit of "Weapons that Changed the West" a history of Montana, using weapons, from Atlatls to ICBMs, with over 900 artifacts. It was fun! We did a study of weapons/firearms from atlatls & arrows, flintlocks, frontier weapons & those of the 20th Century. Some donors had a ton of automatic weapons, I got to fire all of them, including slow motion and all that. The Schnellfeuer as was the Lewis were the most fun, & being an M-60 gunner in the Abn Inf it was old school days. I'll have to dig a few more pics out. was fun I did my best at uniforms, some accurate, some not so much. Wearing a Nazi uniform was creepy as hell!!! Two pics are from the MORs "Fall Festival" mostly farming from the early 1900s. I did the US Army recruiting horses & mules... one million from MT alone, none ever came home. Girls on horses are three of my feral [seriously] students, cowgirls/barrel racers, in 1900 style, side saddle and period clothing. They really made my day!!!
