Andrew,

Very nice jackets! Did you need my address so you can send them my way?

This DCU came from a Navy SEAL. It is 100 percent legit as I know the Sailor. It is named.

I understand that this style of Modification DCU was quite common for SEAL Teams. It may have been done at unit level (as in the Rangers) and not the by individual.

Notice the slightly slanted chest pockets, they are in fact the bottom pockets which have been moved up.

The chest pockets are now on the arms. Notice the large amount of velcro on the sleeve pocket body and also above it.

Here is a pic of the exact same type of jacket in use by a SEAL.

I had to ponder "NKA"... most likely "No Known Allergies"... good info if the medic has to work on you in a hurry!

You are 100% correct sir. "NKA" does stand for No Known Allergies.

Thank you for posting that picture! That is one of the few pictures I have ever come across that shows 6 color desert and the tan LBV vest. Thanks for the great picture reference!

Some better pictures of the soldiers.

What kind of vest and body armor are they wearing? Thanks!

Edit: I couldn't quote pics of SF display?

It looks like MOLLE but MOLLE didn't come out until the late 90's.

There is not a lot of us right now. However, as time goes by, there will be more collectors of these pieces. I guarantee that.

Nice USAF modified set Steven. For some reason, USAF modified jackets aren't very common. Nice pick-up.
