babaou Posted September 8, 2014 Share #1 Posted September 8, 2014 Hi all, I am trying to find the names of all these crewmembers of the B-29 named "City of Lexington" assigned to 30th Bomb Squadron - 19th Bomb Group - 314th Bomb. Wing - XXI Bomber Command - 20th Air Force. Captain Oscar Estes was the plane commander and his crew was #46. I have identified 4 of those men : Standing, from left to right: ?? (function ?), ?? (Copilot), Captain Oscar Estes (Plane Commander-Pilot), ?? (Navigator), ?? (function ?), F/O "Gerk" Lacoff (Flight Engineer). Kneeling from left to right: ?? (function ?), ?? (function ?), ?? (function ?), S/Sgt Walt Willis (Tail gunner), S/Sgt Gordon Cameron (Left gunner). Thanks for your help. All the best.
