toadboy65 Posted September 7, 2014 Share #1 Posted September 7, 2014 I have a 1969 flight jacket that I am restoring to the configuration that it was in 1969, when my Dad was an F-105 pilot, stationed at Takhli AFB, Thailand. the last thing I need to do is the rank insignia. the question is- would the period Captain's bars be the type with the square plastic covering, or would they be another type? and does anyone have a source for the correct insignia? toad Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
mvmhm Posted September 8, 2014 Share #2 Posted September 8, 2014 I have a bunch of the plastic covered flight suit/jacket insignias that came with a couple of footlockers of stuff from an F-105 Wild Weasel pilot who was also at Takhli during that time frame...let me know what you decide you need.
